Prom Day.

Hello!
 I am back from my little birthday planning mission -which means buying a cake and keeping it secret... no, you can't tell!
Well, back to the point... it's Prom Day today!
Weird enough, I am not attending but I am not less inspired by the celebration. And besides, it is Senior Prom! Senior year. Yup.
However, hold on to your jaws because things are different in México and at least in my school, it isn't such a big deal.

I don't know how you feel about inspiration post but I think every now and then, you find something real good. So... Get Prom Inspired!

Fashion Inspiration.

Hello!
Ugh, I have been so busy with school this week and... oh dear! There's more to come!
However, I wanted to make this small inspiration post, which I don't do often enough.

I had a speech today, a presentation about... fashion! And I am still feeling in the mood so I thought I'd come by from my absence -I have a few goodies that I haven't photographed yet.. oops!- feeling inspired.
I think I never mention confidence but it's not my area of expertise. I wore a bright, electric, cobalt blue hat to school today and felt a little bit out of town but gladly, by the end of the day -after my presentation- I felt good. One should always feel good.

I had an actual entry prepared for today but I'm still trying hard to find a way to clearly reach my audience with that I'm saying.

2013. New Year's Resolutions.

Hello my lovely readers out there. I hope you're having a great time and maybe making a little space in between your day to look back at 2012. 

And it's time. Yes, everybody knows what time it is: to make plans and set goals and rise your expectations for what is to come. 

I... wish I could say that I am not the type of person who is comfortable sharing their resolutions but even though that is half-time true, they do become more real just by being out here. 

With no more introduction, behold a long post.

1. Daily Entries.- I know there is a certain type of girls who are drawn to diaries. I know that they are thought to be a terrible idea. I also know that they are a great way to keep track of your memories. I am the type who has tried for a couple of years to make a diary work. Maybe you'd know by my photo-a-day failure that is isn't as easy but... here goes another try.

2. Blogging.- Another thing I have been trying for a while that comes with a little bit of effort. I'll try to think of it as family for my diary. I want to see this grow and I hope I can achieve that this year.
  |_ A little side note to the blogging section. I also wish to see my post posted in two languages. Spanish and English. It's something I've longed for a while but whenever I try to rewrite it, I end up changing the way the message it's written! Oops.

3. Quality pics. + pics.- Well, how on earth am I gonna work out the one mentioned before without visuals?

4. My reading challenge. I have been setting myself a number of books to read for a few years now and I know for some, it may be nothing while for others out there, that may be too much. So... 18 books this year.

5. Skirts and dresses... over jeans.- I am a sucker for Jeans. Whenever I have to dress for school -where it's cold and you find yourself in the need to sit on the floor...- oh well, you get the image. I'd like to change that.

6. Head over heels.- I have a little something for shoes. I find myself constantly drawn to all type of shoes. Lately, they've been ankle boots and shoes with some sort of heel. If I'm willing to get 'em, I'm willing to wear them.

7&8. Fitness and Sleep.- Easy: workout more often, sleep earlier.

9. More bows.- Shine, shine my girly side.

10. Save Up.- It's got to be done.

11. Take it easy.- Last but not least... I have to try and give up my taste for soda. It's not good for your body! -who knew, huh? lol.

Christmas Eve.

I guess It's safe to say I failed the photo-a-day Challenge. Again. But... I think it's the first time I get as much as 10 days! That's probably not a good reason to celebrate but it's close enough.
And from all the days... I make up my mind to make a post TODAY?!
Well, yes.

I haven't been taking pictures because I have been doing nothing but Christmas shopping, wrapping and watching TV (Old series, btw) and reading every now and then. I wasn't even here to tell you that winter arrived with the new world! -Ha, you know the rumors... ''the end of the world''.

I just wanted to wish good for everyone who is kind enough to pass through! -I mean, who ever reads! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and have a lovely time! with everyone you love and means something special and important. I really do hope you have a nice time and keep it in mind for cloudy days... maybe?

Heelloo!

 It's nearly the end of November! I can't believe it! Soon enough we'll be enjoying Christmas vacations and... then it's over! -I think I'll keep saying that until the end of the year, tho. Hehe. :)

Today I bring you something that I know has been around for about a week, something I was slow to share. I know you get a lot of mixed reviews when it comes to Disney but I am a truly lover of what they're capable to create. As a studio, as a company, as a team. 

I think they're provided with opportunities and I, once again, find myself surprised by the beauty of the video, a collaboration between Barney's and Disney. 

I don't know if you've seen it already but if you haven't... be sure to give it a try!

Halloween Costume Inspiration.

Hell-o! Goodness, you have no idea how excited I am for Halloween! It's so close! Again, I can hear the sound of October as it runs by with a devil smile "Now you see me, soon you won't!" And all I do is run behind him -October, wait! Please. You're going to fast.

Loving. 
Fall/ Autumn. I have no idea why! Where I live -have a map? Find United States. Not hard! Now go down, down. Yes, around the middle. There!- it's always hot and the idea of fall is the chilly weather and the falling leaves and... well. I don't get to see that just yet but I have my hopes up!
Meanwhile, I have to suffer the heat throughout the day and the cold mornings and rainy evenings. (What?!)

Loads of homework. Ironically, that's what brought me back to blogging. I need a mind break from a job that I cant finish! Ugh.

Once Upon A Time, anyone? Yes! I can't help my love for Fairytales and the new season just premiered! Yay!
Glee is also back even for a little while and I went out the other day and saw Season 3 of the Vampire Diaries. I first read the books around October, a few years back and I can't help getting excited to see it! I fell back and lost track but I think I might try it again!

Summer is almost here! Hello, hello!
Well, actually, I think it's right to say summer's already here. It's hot as hell and... well, what is summer about? It's all about the heat, the clothing -which we have, had for months- and of course, no school.
Okay, now I am highly unsure. Is it summer? Haha.
Anyways, I was going through my tumblr dashboard and found the new Pull&Bear campaign and couldn't help to share the love.
I'd done it in my other blog but well.

I think we can all see the Lana del Rey inspiration or is it me? I am sure not. The waves in the hair, even the model. For the colors, very vintagy- instagram-ish. I think.

If they're trying to get closer to us, I'm afraid it's working.
